Hi there, I am new to the site , I have no technical information, but I am suprised at how few women post messages here to other women. It seems to me that more women would like some moral support in this area, because no offense to the men but everyone kind of accepts a balding man but for woman it is just not that accepted. I am suprized by how many women I notice who are noticably thinning on top. I would like to talk to other women and get their advice and share things we have tried. I tried a little minoxidol for a short while but was afraid of it having side effects. About a year a ago I started thinning out first in the back and a little on top, I am blessed that it is not to bad. I hope to at least keep what I have with treatment and prayer. Now I am using Nioxin and have been for a month, so far I will say that my hair does feel stronger and is not breaking off as much, it also looks thicker to me. I also take sawpalmeto herb,Phytoestrogen herb and various vitamins. I do feel for me it is helping a little bit. I began treating my hair about three months after I first noticed my hair was falling out, in that three months I probably lost about one third of my hair , it was very upsetting. I am dealing with it and yes I do ask God to help all he can. Thats all, Hope to hear if anyone else is experiencing any luck. Yours in understanding,
