I said "Propecin" in my title of the thread; when indeed it is "Procerin.,... All these drug names are confusing me!

I was in a clinical trial for Nisim years ago in Toronto. Back then they were a company called Analog I think. Got the shampoo and topical treatment free for a year. I couldn't see any meaningful results, but they said there were going by before/after pictures they took. Maybe a few hairs, big deal.
Tried propecia for a year and it did nothing.

I've never heard of anyone on here getting results with procerin - but if you are trying to go natural why not go with company that isn't putting up fake results like revivogen or hair genesis? Why are you afraid of minoxidil? it's one of the few things actually proven to work for a good number of people and has no major side effects If you are going to take propecia, i'd recommend minoxidil at the same time - you will get the best results tha way. if propecia isn't for you, another option would be low level laser therapy, which at least seems to have more evidence for results than the other non-propecia/avodart/minoxidil treatments. I would recommend going with one of the advanced minoxidil formulas such as ProMox by Dr. Klein or Dr. Lee's formulas. They have other ingredients besides just minoxidil and I never had any side effects from them including klein's promox formula with topical finasteride. I've had good results on both. webmaster is the promax minoxidil stronger than 12.5% minoxidil with azelic acid? spelling may be wrong on that. but i am seeing a tricholigist and get upto date photos, medication which is propecia 1 mg and the 12.5% minoxidil, i was having laser therpy and steaming etc for a while but stoppped that now due to mkoney. but i go gym so use steam room and put tea tree mint conditoner on head while in their on nioxin scalp therapy, feels fresh and clean and great. Yes Brian i would defintly use propecia with minoxidil as does help more efficeintly. the propecia is to help maintain what you got. but along with minox can grow back hair that you already have making it stronger. but if you already have a bald skin it will not grow anything, you must have some hair weak or strong. I would personally recommend seeing a trichologist as they will offer the best advice and treat your condition, they need to find out if its MPB first or other. It can be costly but ok if pay quaterly. Are you from United states Brian??

Brian1632 said: Hi Everybody. New member here and I hope to stay a member for a long time as I have found tons of great information. I'm 28 and am thinning across the top of the head as well as my temples. This has been going on for about the past year and gets worse by the day. I have my good days that I see no hair falling out and then others when I'm showering in which I have about 10-20 hairs in my hands. After doing a lot of research, I decided to give Procerin and Nisim shampoo a shot. I know Procerin has a lot of "fake ads" around the internet, but I'm just trying to go the "Al-Natural" way before going to a "big boy" drug. I started taking a multi-vitamin that has B6, ginseng, and green tea extract as well. I JUST STARTED Nisim and Procerin today; so I have no personal review on it yet, but will keep you all posted. I guess my main questions are as follows: 1) Is Procerin even worth it? It has Saw Palmetto, etc; but should I maybe just go and buy the actual extract from GNC? 2) Nisim Shampoo - I haven't heard much about it, but it definately makes my hair feel nice. Has no Minox in it, which I am also afraid of. My doc actually said if I try either Fin or Minox, to go with Fin first. 3) Topic Extract - So both Procerin and Nisim came with "extracts" to apply to the hair. I'm wondering if I can just take the Procerin pill and use the shampoo; but not utilize the extract from either. 4) Any other side effects other than digestive upsets and itchy scalp from Saw Palmetto? 5) It seems a larger number than 1.8% experience side-effects while on Propecia. Being 28, I'm just nervous about settling down, trying to have kids, getting depressed, etc. I have to remain motivated and "in shape" as I'm in b2b sales. Then again, my hair is also de-motivating. What do you all think/suggest? Should I stay on my procerin/nisim regimen for a few months? Thanks and I look forward to following up with you all!

my advice is to stick with the FDA approved as your first option...propecia, minox and lllt...and combining two or all three would be a strong attack plan. A problem with minox is the twice daily application and greasy/staining problems that persist depending on the minox product you choose.. Remox and DS have added ingredients that boost effectiveness, but in terms of user-friendliness nothing is better than Rogain foam. Personally I do not like minox products mainly because most people fail to stick with them and eventually have a major shed from stopping the treatment. There are many causes of hair loss and you should form a strategy that attacks different possible causes: 1. limit or block dht (propecia or other internals) 2. stimulate follicles (minox, copper peptide solutions, lllt) 3. decrease inflamation (LLLT, and internals like resveratrol/curcumin) 4. improve scalp health /anti fungus with proper shampoo and other products (nizoral, regenpure. head and shoulders and other shampoos, scalp peels, clay products, emu oil, magnesium oil, LLLT) 5. improve overall health with supplements (check out immortal hair top 6) 6. remove chlorine from your shower with shower head filter
Even a complete attack plan like that may not regrow a full head of hair...but it will stop hair loss, improve the way your hair looks, make you a healthier person, and may even regrow some hair.

There is a high strength formula for Promox I think it is 15% not 12.5% I can't remember which though. I prefer the 5% spray though personally. I disagree on user friendliness MJ - Klein's promox spray is the probably the best (for me it's like hairspray) and dr. lee's is probably the best drying/least visible. Would Propecia at least stop further hairloss? I'm not bald yet, so if I can stop my hairloss at this point; I'd be happy. However, I have heard that even the side-effects are actually more than just the 2% that Merck claims from trials.

It will stop it for most men, but it doesn't work for everyone. "Don't be afraid to see what you see. "

what is the emu oil, clay products for hair that mj is on about??? i do recommened the steam room 1x a week etc as the steam will help open and unblock the pores. The promax you are talking about is that only in america?? and i personally find the minoxidil ok to apply, same as anything just routine. I suspect most products will make you shed some hair in time if you stop using the product.
