Harlan,
I do remember talking to you about it, but I don't drink much and it wasn't limited to acne. It was much more than that - Detoxing does tend to help my skin, but never helps the dark rings and haggard look I've picked up while on minox. I'm going to try and do some metal detoxing pretty soon at Jacob's advice to see what happens and add some Vitamin C topicals under the eyes... I wish I were the only one who experienced these problems.

Widows peek, I've been on minox off and on since I was 23.. I just turned 27 this week. At one point I was on it for a full year, but every time I seem to get the same effects. I also tend to feel intense pressure under my eyes when on it and even some burning. I also seemed to have developed some enlarged veins around the eye areas (sides, not just under eyes). The ones on the sides seems to be subsiding since stopping. I know what you are saying about quitting and trust me I have a lot of fear about it - it's scary, because I'm not seeing anyone here who has really gone minox route and mentioning that they were able to ever get off it and come back to regain hair on naturals. Personally, I wish I had never started and just stuck to natural treatments from the get-go. I just didn't know any better at the time. I see guys like the natural and Jacob who are getting results naturally, but it seems they were never on minox to begin with. So far this thread isn't looking too promising, but I guess I will just have to take my chances... I hate feeling like crap when on these drugs (minox/propecia).

Naturals won't do it and nothing else will to date. Theres nothing avilable now to regrow all or most of your lost hair back and this is a fact!
Lots of bullshit scams out there. The hairloss industry is one big scam with no results to back it up. Millions are still going bald.Good luck .

Well, it depends upon how much you've lost, etc. I do think one needs to move beyond the usual herbs and vits etc though- topically I mean. Although I still do and will use them.

So no-one here has ever dropped minoxidil and succeeded in replacing it with natural alternatives?
