Could you please explain why you prefer parabens Jacob? I found your statement quite peculiar so maybe there's a weird reason to that.

What I meant is that I prefer preservatives, which are a MUST...over alcohol..pg....other things that aren't needed- like fake colorants....

Parabens do ned to go. There really is no place for them. Tween 60 I saw was used in a Toxicology study on rats. Any thing that even sparks a reaction to do a toxic study in my book is bad.

I don't know of any natural alternative ingredients to recommend in a reformulation?

Frontline Warrior. Look into BHT. Although it is synthetic it is a great preservative and relatively non-toxic. It is actually used as an alternative therapy to disable certain viruses like Herpes and HIV. I believe I read somewhere that it dissolves the lipid capsule protecting the virus.

FLW,

Hey man, just a heads up on that product. They are basically selling you a niacin solution that you could make yourself for pennies. Your scalp turns red from the niacin (notice it is the main ingredient). Go to the local pharmacy and buy a bottle of niacin, crush the pills up, and mix them with some distilled water and maybe some ethyl alcohol and you would have a life time supply of the stuff for like 5 bucks. Niacinamide is niacin (vit b3 I believe) in a different form that doesn't cause flushing like niacin does. I take it because it is said to be good for anxiety and also to kill candida yeast. I'm sure it is great for many other things as well. I'm not 100% sure but I don't believe the redness equals increased blood flow with niacin, but don't quote me on that.

Jharsh there will prob be fillers/coatings in the pills which can cause the solution to be ineffective or worsen scalp health. Your prob better off buying it in pure powder form.

Jacob-I was wondering what the price was and later found out-duh.
