Re: brh1219 said: I had taken it since feb so about 3 months shy of a year...i dropped it because my hairline seemed to be receding more agressively on propecia however it did come to a point where it seemed to be less. I also just wanted to get off of it and go the natural route and not mess with my hormones. I cant remember how my scalp itch was before prop but i cant remember it being this bad. Its mainly at the crown. I also think my crown got thicker while on prop but it could be all in my head. Since off prop my libido is back to normal and it i almost forgot how it was. I think you lose some sexual emotions while on prop...i feel more confident with myself now i dunno its wierd. I boughtan organic shampoo that i use at night and i rotate niz, activeM, and seabuckthorn at night. It seems to help the inflammation. alright im ranting...Legend what are your thoughts?I dunno I'm back and forth on the whole propecia thing myself. I KNOW it was definetely affecting my sex life. I also suspected the same a you that it seemed to make my hairline worse. But on the other hand the month before I dropped it (6 months or so) I had a dramatic decrease in hairloss as well as a dramatic decrease in libido. I was loooking into the natural route also...but have been debating on whether to try .5 mg of propecia. Ive enjoyed the last 2 weeks, my sex drive has been extremely high, sex has been great...but on the other hand i see more shedding as the days go by. If you go the natural route, please let me know how that works out for you. And I would definetely reccomend super zix 2 and nizoral. It hasnt exactly stopped all of the itch but its helped tremendously. I'm looking into some jojoba and trying to get a script for nizoral 2%. The regimen im cooking up might look like this: Super zix 2- twice daily aculas laser- every other day, 20 min a day Nizoral 2% every 3 days in rotation with a custom non SLS shampoo with jojoba. And I havent decided on whether trying .5 prop or IH's top six. Though I am planning on taking EC regardless. Let me know what you think.

Generally when i wash my hair after it drys, i have zero inflammation...if i have a high amount of inflammation at night ill put on some TTO and it helps. Im pretty much doing the same thing as you Legend i just mixed up the zix and am starting it tonight. My inflammation has gone down considerably. Ive let my hair grow out longer...makes my hair look thicker and i dont worry about it as much. I feel not worrying about the inflammation has helped. Usually when i feel my scalp itch i start worrying about how my hair is thinning out. I took .5mg for a while and it actually was not so bad but i felt like it just wasnt good for my system...now i dunno whats worse just taking soley prop or all these supps im taking. That little prop pill looks so innocent lol I also had a dramatic decrease in hairloss the last couple of months i just didnt realize it cause i had been taking it for so long. Like everyone says...stay away from sugars or foods high in sugar...after thanksgiving when i went all out with desserts was when my inflammation was the worst. I cant eliminate carbs cause i dont wanna lose weight but yea. Im trying to keep it to just complex carbs so i dont have such a huge spike in blood sugar level Ive never tried any lazer let me know how that goes

Yea im hopin for the same it seems like many people have had good results with zix and if not figured out why and corrected it. I think rogaine foam was terrible. Made my hairline noticeably worse...i was howevr only on it for 4 months but the shedding never stopped. ActiveM is a shampoo that is suppose to be pretty decent it has a couple things in it such as taurine...although i heard topical taurin was ineffective by someone not sure. I actually haventused it consistently enough to say anything meaningful about it though it does make my scalp itch a lil afterwards but so does nioxin...with the morocco shampoo i have zero itching and it seems to cleanse pretty well.
