Yeah, Zix has regrown hair for me -something minox and propecia failed to do (after many trials)- and completely stopped shedding. But we *all* know the future is laser helmets anyway. Right? lol...
/Diodes coming soon! //Still being lazy about building the helmet part.

Runnin Think before you make stupid comments as if your preaching gospel. "no scientific data has ever been recorded" ....... 10s of thousands of experiments on naturals have been done, all of which generated scientific data. Many naturals affect hairloss to the same degree or better than minox and propecia. Minoxidil is weak.

I took this from my old website that I took down in 2005. I actually used the "Internet Archive Wayback Machine" that has a cashed version of it at web.archive.org/web/20051025001004/http://www./. Wow, my motivational speech was great! lol.. Here is a lot of info on ACV and Cayenne together that I cut and pasted from it, and why it should be used. After re-reading it, it makes me want to start using it again! lol...
Here it is: ----------------------------
1)Apple Cider Vinegar with Cayenne Pepper (Evening Only) This sounds extremely hokey, and is the center of many "home remedies" and "wives' tales". That makes me *not* want to trust it, but actually I feel that this is the most immediately beneficial product out there for my hair type. I have noticed an immediate change in the shininess and fullness of my hair. Would it do this for all hair types? Probably not, but it seems to be the "magic" ingredient for what my hair has been missing since my hair has evolved from what is was when I was young to what it looks like now (a lot more dull, thin, dark, etc?). On top of all of this, there could be some definite science going on here in the form of Procyanidins, as I will get to in a sec.
First, the reason it is such a "home remedy" is that Apple Cider Vinegar is a definite, uncontested cure for dandruff, and it improves overall scalp health immensely. More and more, it is shown that poor scalp health is a contributing factor (or at the very least present) in hair loss. Not only does A.C.V improve scalp health on the surface, it stimulates blood flow to the follicles, increasing the overall health of the scalp/hair. Oh, one thing of major importance? it has to be organic, non-pasteurized! The pasteurization process will wipe out some of the good stuff that I will get into later.
The addition of the Cayenne Pepper is key in scalp health as well. Cayenne Pepper, also known by it's scientific name Capsicum, is a true example of "Opposite Day". While you would think of it as an irritant, it is actually a great inflammatory agent. Yes, it feels a little like a sunburn and this concoction is pretty close to a weak form of pepper spray, but that is actually just an interesting interpretation by your nervous system and brain of the chemicals on your skin. Plus, in addition to the inflammatory properties, it does stimulate the scalp and encourage circulation.
Here is a link to a study on Cayenne Pepper, as well as some highlights:
http://web.archive.org/web/20051230023455/http://www.qfac.com/supps/phytoblock.html While SOD is of value with ROS (Reactive Oxygen Species) NF-[kappa]B is important to. Because Tumor Necrosis Factor-a(alpha) is one of the ultimate pathways of destruction for hair follicles, altering the expression of this is very useful in hair loss. Suppressing Nuclear factor-kappaB controls the expression of several inflammatory processes, including Tumor Necrosis Factor-a. Extensive research in the last few years has shown that the pathway that activates this transcription factor can be interrupted by phytochemicals derived from spices such as turmeric (curcumin), red pepper (capsaicin), cloves (eugenol), ginger (gingerol), cumin, anise, and fennel (anethol), basil and rosemary (ursolic acid), garlic (diallyl sulfide, S-allylmercaptocysteine, ajoene), and pomegranate. [THANKS, IMMORTAL!] For those that use minoxidil, a recent study by the European Hair Research Society (located in their conference abstracts index) shows not only that cayenne pepper has growth stimulation capabilities, but cayenne pepper and minoxidil have a synergistic effect together: Effect of Coapplication of Capsaicin and Minoxidil on the Murine Hair Growth Won-Soo Lee, Hyung Jin Ahn, Young H

Oh, and speaking of that great motivational intro... it was about a month after that when my life went temporarily to shit and I didn't follow my own advice! lol... funny how that works sometimes! *sigh* My graphics were so simple and innocent back then... no lightsabers, no "force lightning", no advanced filters... That building graphic on the page is supposed to be "The Clevelander" down in South Beach, Miami, by the way. I freaking love all of those Art Deco buildings by the ocean.
