Nizoral Studies

I know the Nizoral study that everyone refers to whereby it was shown that, on mice, Nizoral worked as well as Rogaine in terms of stimulating hair growth. Have any other studies been done? Or, does anyone have links to Nizoral studies that show some sort of potential efficacy?

I use Nizoral 1%, but I'd love to read some more research if any exists...

THANKS

Keep in mind, this is for an ointment, 2% I believe, that is not availible over-the-counter.

Here's another link to a poster's home testing of Niz 1% from another site.

just bought my Nizoral today, been on IH top 6 for what seems like an eternity now with no results for the hair. I still have a bit of dandruff and an itchy scalp so I'm going to give Nizoral a trial run.

I think Nizoral is a great product. I used 1% about twice a week in the past, and after running out, I've just purchased 2% and will be using EOD to see if I can get better growth results.

Try SBT soap for an itchy and flakey scalp. It cleared up mine and has not returned, even after discontinuing the SBT soap.

I know this has probably been asked before, but is there any way to get NIzoral 2% without a perscription?
