yes propecia is bad, im just doing it for a year or more get the results i want than go natural. This stuff has many sides you might not see them yet but there will be some.

I have had gray hairs, lower sex drive, tes pain etc....

My recommendation is only do it for a short time than go natural.

I emailed merck yesterday about gray hair side effects lets see if they get back to me, if they dont ill make it hell for them.

Destro please tell me a doctor that really knows his stuff? all say yep, you MPB get some drugs when many hairloss problems wont just be stoved by minox and fin.

So how will they know if fin is bad for you or not, half the time im telling doctors more facts than they know.

Bob, I agree that hairloss in some situations is more than just DHT. My problem is with people stating that since I started propecia or whatever that now they have problems and blaming that product when they may have not looked into other causes. I am not saying propecia is not causing the problems stated on that site but many of those conditions can be caused by other things besides propecia. I had anxiety real bad a while back but I was not taking propecia so it could not have been that. If someone shows me scientific proof then by all means let put the company out of business but let's not jump to conclusions.

Here's an additional thought:

nothing kills the sex drive like having a girl stare at your head and say, "You're going bald!" Instant woody-killer!

That doesn't happen to me anymore, thank you Propecia!

great post gimme, besides,im on avodart(super propecia)been on it almost a year and i feel the results have been good, not amazing, but i kept the hair i had and regrew about 10 percent more and that is just about all i wanted with the exception of my hairline(nothing available will fix your hairline with any cosmetically acceptable results)

anyway, like i said,my hair is no longer noticably balding with the exception of my norwood 2.5 temples and i had them filled in with 2200 micro grafts done overseas 2 months ago.the grafts are just now starting to grow in and are thin and whispy, like baby hair but they say by month 3(one more month)the new hair should begin to appear darker and more like normal head hair.2 months is way too soon to tell how many grafts survived but based on what grafts never shed and the ones that are already growing back at only 2 months,id say my surgery was a 100 percent success.

since my problem was mainly in my hairline to begin with, once (i figure 8 months)all 2200 transplanted grafts grow in,i can lay off on the avodart and maybe the minox or use them less frequently at least untill i experience loss or thinning on top(something i didnt have or had very little of to begin with.

im currently very happy now and the new grafts are coming in so fast that every day it seems like they are growing like monsters!!!,such a huge difference from the past year of using avodart and minox and wondering if thats a new hair all while holding a magnifing glass up to my temples.with a transplant the new growth is fast, obvious, and impossible to tell that its fake.

That is so true, Deejac... I'm very happy I got my HT 3 years ago. It was an ordeal, but it made a huge difference. And in my past I did have a few girls comment on my hair loss just when I thought we were gonna get naked... DATE OVER!
