IH - 4 months, and hair looks 10X worse, sex drive is much better, switching to avodart Well , you guys have seen my update recently.Just got a haircut, and its obvious my hair is much worse off since being on this regimen. However, my sex drive is through the roof, have increased body hair, and increased facial hair. What is going on here? It seems like the opposite of what is supposed to happen is happening. I originally got on IH because finasteride become ineffective.. and I'm still on the fin. I've decided to switch to avodart, and keep up the IH6 regimen to help combat sexual side effects. Also going to add scalpicin 1% hydrocortisone cream. Any thoughts on these changes I'm about to make?

Why not just go natural only, and then assess the condition of your hair after six months?

well this is my experience..... i went off of propecia for about 6 months while I tried the all natural route, using ImmortalHairs top 6.. my hair went to crap during this period, especially my crown. The Natural says an option is to go off of propecia for 6 months and re-asses.. the problem with this is that if the natural regimen doesn't work well for you then you may have a very hard time getting back any hair that you have lost.

why'd you go off propecia? I'm going to replace the propecia with avodart.. the only worry i have is of permanent side effects.

I went off of propecia because I was getting gyno.... I heard of people not getting side effects after they switched to avodart and now I am on avodart without side effects.

i doubt immortal is going to be a fan of what you're doing if you're using propecia and a cortisone cream. cortisone creams numb and thin your skin over time, you are aware of that? its going to be more damaging to use it long term.

I understand long term usage is not smart. But How about using it for a few months to get induce some regrowth and keep the hair there with supplements + avodart? Given that I'm ON propecia.. and things have only gotten (much) worse since 4 months on the IH regimen, what else can I possibly do? It seems to me my only option is avodart. Waiting for the IH regimen to kick in past 4 months where my hair has only thinned out dramatically since I started just doesn't sound like the best idea to me.
