Topical Finasteride Mix Ratio? I just got some 1mg Finpecia and want to make a topical with my Minoxidil. Looking through the threads, I see a variety of suggestions about how much is needed. Is there a definitive answer as to how much I should add? Will it actually fully dissolve? I mean if the answer is like 15 tablets or so? If there is no concensus as to how much to add, anyone doing it that can suggest a mix? I should point out that I took it orally about 6 years ago with disasterous results. 7 straight months of ever increasing heavy shedding. When I quit, it got EVEN WORSE for about 3 months, and then dropped to a more normal rate. Anyone think it'll cause me to shed again using it topically? Thanks!

Re: "There a cool study about use it for women with hirtusim and the dossage was 0,25 % ."What exactly would this translate to? How many 1mg pills need to be added to 50ml of Minoxidil? Anyone have any help here?

0,25% means that for every 100ml you need 250mg of finasteride . That will be 25 tabs of Proscar .

Thanks for the math guys, but somehow I don't think that 125 Fincar (or 25 Proscar) pills will dissolve in a bottle of Minoxidil. Anyone tried it? So am I wasting my time if say, I can only get 10 1mg pills to dissolve?

I'll try to dissolve 20 Finpecia tablets. If it works, I'll let you all know.
