Topical propecia for five yrs. Got all my hair back! im new to this site and i was suprised to see people using propecia on their scalps. thought it was my idea. doesn't seem to give me sex probs this way. Idont even have to swallow the pills anymore. Guys try this!!!!!!!!!!

I also use topical fin. all you do is crush 2 or 3 proscar tabs into your minox and shake. apply to your scalp as you would rogaine. my frontal hairline responded to nothing until I started doing this. now I have almost all my hair back.

If you go to www.lipoxidil.com they offer topical Propecia and Avodart. I haven't tried them so I don't know how effective they are. I am starting to strongly consider trying them.

No, you dont have to use minox. I would use some sort of alcohol solution though,since finesteride is soluble in alcohol. Dont use rubbing alcohol! Vodka would work good actually, maybe with a little glycerin to thicken it up.I would still take fin orally at the same time. Even though Doggie got good results with just topical fin, (which was very exciting to hear,I might add!)I would still continue to take fin orally. and no, I havn't had any side effects except hair growth on my frontal hairline!

I've now started adding topical Spiro 2x/day religiously. We'll see what happens.

you guys say this topical propecia grew your hair back or even grew your frontal hair back...i ask you what Norwood were you then and what norwood are you now? i'm hoping by "grow your hair back" you dont mean a few hairs...
