Danish Male So, you've been taking Avodart for about 2 months. Does it work? And does it work better than Propecia? Any side effects?

Re: Why is Dr.Lee so paranoid about Avodart? Hey DanishMale you state "My own doctor thinks I'm playing Russian roulette with my health".What does that mean? Are you doctor shopping???? And gulping this shit down by the bucket full? I have a buddy like that.....he takes way too much hair loss stuff.....he is freaking obsessed that he is going bald.....he even told me once.....if the bargain is a full head of hair and live til 60 or bald and live til 80.....he will take the full head and croak at 60! Do you have any experience with Procerin? I am considering adding that to the menu since it says you can take it in conjunction with Proscar & Minox.

Hi everyone! Sorry for not answering before now - I'm a busy student. To hairiscool: I like your sarcasm about Dr. Lee :-). He really does shake his moneymaker. But more or less having lost my patience with Rogaine 5% in terms of regrowth in my temple area makes me want to try Xandrox 15%. I will use the rest of my Rogaine 5% before switching to Xandrox 15%. To A_S_M: Yes I've been on 0.5mg Avodart for 2½ months now. I haven't seen any results yet - it's my temple/frontal area I'm focusing on. No sexual sideeffects so far, but at the moment I think my face feels a little bit swollen. I really hope it's not the same as what happened to member 18661 (see his post above). To DHT-IS-Evil: No I'm not doctorshopping. It's just that here in Denmark where I live you go see your own doctor in the first place for whatever medical problem you might have. The doctor will then send you to a specialist if it's a complicated medical problem you have - all financed by the Danish taxpayers:-) My doctor was just worried about prescribing me Avodart because it's a relatively new drug. Therefore she sent me to this Ph.d-guy. And no, I'm no more desperate about my hairloss than any other user of this forum. I'm a Norwood 1 and I intend to stay there/regrowthing by all means necessary - except for castration of course!! And no, I don't have any experience with Procerin. Regards

Re: Why is Dr.Lee so paranoid about Avodart? Thanks DanishMale.....sounds like you have a good plan. There is a segment of people losing their hair that seem to live in a panic state. I wonder if there has ever been a reported case where some idiot actually chose casteration over going bald?

Re: Why is Dr.Lee so paranoid about Avodart? DanishMale said: Hi!I'm a 30 years old male. I´ve used Propecia, Rogaine 5% and Nizoral 2% for 4 years (no sideeffects at all from Propecia). I'm still a Noorwood 1-2 but I want to be fully 'cured' for my hairloss. That is why I've decided to make the Avodart swith (0.5 mg every day). I guess 'the big 3' have helped me to keep what I have, but I'm freaking desperate about my temples and my frontal area!! Should I worry about sideeffects or no effect at all when it comes to Avodart?? And why is Dr. Lee so paranoid about Avodart?? Regards from a Dane

Oh if your currious how to get rid of dry hair after using Rogain or any other products that dry up the scalp, try using Doogro, you can buy it at walgreens, it was designed for african type hair, but I use it right after i take a shower and put on my rogain. It's somewhat oily but not greasy, it dryes wonderfully and makes my hair look health just like when I was in my teens (this is not a sales pitch, cuz I am white)Also I have used it for almost two years, and love the stuff.

Member 15670 I've been trying to email you, but aren't your email 'Tamarunderground@.aol' instead of 'Tamarunderground@aol'?
