Aloe Very is good stuff. I recommend growing your own (they are succulents and require almost no care). When you need some you cut off a tip and squeeze to get the juice out... I find it more effective this way than most over the counter versions (including those that say they're concentrated). I have treated burns w/ aloe straight from the plant with great success. I don't know whether it'll help grow any hair in particular and i don't put it on my scalp, but it is very good at soothing many common skin complaints. I highly recommend it for sunburns as well, unless you're into pain :)

. . .  I just started using Minoxidil as well, but I've noticed a burning/stinging in the areas I use it on.  . . .

If your scalp has recently flaked or peeled or is irritated in anyway - YES - minoxidil will sting.

The azaelic acid in the revivogen you're using is most likely the culprit.

As long as your scalp isn't overly irritated and the stinging is mild and goes away quickly - you should be OK.

The first time I used minoxidil - it stung like crazy - but only the first time.

PS:  make sure to keep a 3 hour window between applying revivogen and any other topicals.
