i use minox alone and the results are way way better then i could ever imagine..........In my opinion i think propecia or dht blockers grow very very minumal hair they are just that "dht" blockers to prevent you from losing more hair. and rogaine is what makes the hair grow and new hair grow. Thats why people say coupling rogaine and propecia is so great. Propecia stops hair from falling out while rogaine grows hair.

I've been using Avodart for almost 6 months and my crown area is filling in and I've noticed some hair thickening in my temples. I used Propecia for 1 year and the results didn't come close to what I'm getting now.

Jetman, How long did it take for you to see the extra hair. Two people I know started taking it about 10 months ago and it took quite some time before we started seeing any improvement, right around four months for one and six months for the other. They had switched from Finasteride to Dutasteride, so I suspect if they had been using nothing it would have been more noticeable. In the event, the improvement we saw in both cases was slight, but we did notice it. I am glad you are having good results, it indicates that for some people it makes no difference compared to Finasteride (12705), for some people it only does a little (the two I know), but for some it can be quite effective (you). One other person tried it, but quit after about 10 days because he said it dramatically lowered his sex drive. Maybe it was a placebo effect, I really do not know. Did you notice anything like this when you switched?
