Propecia poll. Yeah, more talk about propecia. member 15816 asked a good question in a reply on another post. He said "Where are all of the people that have had good results with propecia". This is true where are they? So lets take a quick poll. simply give your age, how long you have been on Propecia and if you have had positive or negative results. Do not forget to mention how long it took you to get results. Retaining hair also counts as results. thanks

Re: Propecia poll. Yeah, more talk about propecia. I'm 24 and have been on 2.5 mg generic finasteride + generic 5% minoxidil for 20 months In the context of overall regrowing, those things doesn't help very much at the horse shoe area cause my hairline slowly but sure moving upward. But over the crown and midscalp, they rocks. Previously the hair on those areas were so fine and thin that the scalp area could be seen right through. Not after 8th month on the treatment had those areas became to look much better. Excessive hair sheeding that I had everyday before the treatment were gradually reduced to the constant rate of about 25 shed hair after the 7th month. Recently I've been to Malaysia for about 3 weeks and didn't bring any medical supply cause I was to affraid the custom officers would give me a hard time if they spotted the drugs and misjudge it as narcotics. On the 2nd week without the pill, I count the hair that was shedding increasing to about 40 a day and was getting worse on the 3rd. Today is the 2nd week after I continued taking the pills and minoxidil and hairloss count is still above 30, but I certainly hope that it would gradually reduced.

I have been taking Propecia for about a year and a half and I have noticed some definate improvement. My wife even said that my hair looked "fluffy." I noticed less hair falling out fairly quickly after I started, which made me happy. After awhile, I noticed that it was easier to do my hair every morning. My sister in law actually asked my wife if I had "something done" to my hair. It has mostly helped the front, not sure about the back. The only problem I have recently encountered is that I have been taking Zoloft for anxiety for about 4 months and in the past month I noticed ALOT more hair falling out every morning. This really upsets me and I am thinking of weaning of off Zoloft. Overall, I am really happy with Propecia.

I have yet to have results but the stuff works, you guys accutually think the FDA would just slap its approval on it if it didn't work? Even if I lose all my hair I would still say Propecia works, I would just be one of the people that it does not work for that's all. I hate those people that think the world revolves around them and are so ignorant to think that if a product does not work for them than it is bogus. This is why when they tests products they test a large group of people to determine if the product works, not a single person.
