Here's the scoop: Glaxo decided to end phase 3 trials for hairloss. I've heard different reasons for it. I suppose they figure people will obtain it and why bother spending millions of dollars doing tests. If anyone knows what the real reason is, please inform us. I'd be interested to see what their reasoning is. Vinny

Rumor has it that Glaxo ended the phase 3 hairloss trials because Avodart didn't work any better then Propecia/Proscar. My guess is that's the real reason. There'd be a huge market and tons of money to be made if it was offically approved as a hairloss treatment.
