Sounds like a lost cause. If you are going bald you are screwed.

Not being a dick but it's reality.Millions are going bald even after trying all the bullshit treatments out there.

Theres nothing available today to get it all back.

You need to get on treatments. There is no cure but there are ways to postpone the effects of MPB. Search the forum and see what is working for others and develop your own regemen.

Welcome to Regrowth and if you have any questions just post them on the board as these guys here are the best IMO!

Please don't listen to the negative postings here. It was 42 years' ago, while I was living in the same rooming house with 3 fellows from India during my university days (who incidentally made some wonderful vegetarian dishes) and who befriended me during some lonely days that I discovered how to preserve over 90% of my hair. I will never forget these 3 fellows. Anyway, I digress, you must immediately look for my previous postings in addition to whatever else is proven to work and tackle the problem right away.

Arun, can you give us some information on what your 2 year treatment was. I'm sure once we know that we can suggest something else. Don't freak out, at your age you can probably stop further loss.

Thanks Dobika. Actually it was homeopathy treatment(Dr. Batras) ,i use to take medicine every day morning and night and i use their herbal shampoo, one kind of lotion for my scalp,i just rub this lotion on my scalp during night time and i take hair bath in the morning and this activity will happen once in a week. This is how my treatment was carried on for the past two years.I have no clue what these medicine names are since it doesnt have any name on it.it just says Dr.Batras Homeopathic medicine .

Please suggest me: Whether i should personally meet a doctor for my hair treatment or i should go with whatever this forums suggest me to do. Personally, i dont want to go with whatever people say here the reason behind this is, i dont want to loose my hair further. Please guide me in a right path so that i dont loose my hair further.

arun. Most doctors will prescribe Propecia and Rogain. These are the only FDA approved drugs for hairloss. The problem with both (if they work for you) is that you have to take them for life to maintain any positive results. I have tried both and actually had very good results for six to seven years. Unfortunetly the great results did not last forever an dmy hair loss started to slowly increase after seven years of use.

Propecia will more then likely produce sexual side affects, such as libido loss, and some non sexual such as depression and possibly fat gain. I don't want to scare you, just stating what myself and others have experienced. You may, or may not experience side affects, so give them a try if you wish.

There are other treatments that you can try, such as LLLT (Low Level Laser Therapy), scalp massages, daily washing of your hair with a natural shampoo, reducing stress/inflammation/toxins, etc. Conduct a google search for "Immortal Hair" There is a lot of information on the site that will help you fight hair loss with supplements and diet.

Do you still have most of your hair? Is it just thinning, or have you developed bald areas? If your hair is still growing, you have a chance of fighting the loss, but it's very difficult to grow hair on areas that have been bald for a while, if not impossible.

Ideas:

1. Laser Therapy; google search for Overmacho Grande on google for info. 2. Natural approach. googls search for Immortal Hair 3. Wash your hair daily. 4. Improve your diet by eliminating junk food and greatly reducing sugar. 5. Increase your daily exercise (resistance/aerobic) and reduce alcohol (if you drink) 6. Research Propecia, Xandrox, Spectral.DNC. Not healthy but they may work well for you.

Hope this helps.
