Zenagen smells like an orange, ingredient breakdown. I got the 2 for 1 deal on Zenagen. I think $50 bucks for one bottle is way too much. I got my shipment today it has a citrus smell and the ingredients are listed on the bottle. There is warning not to use it daily, your supposed to use it only every 4 days.I can not tell if it does anything because I just got it The ingredients do not look revolutionary. I found a listing of the ingredients here and they do match the ingredients on the bottle: http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/product.php?prod_id=299799 Here is a breakdown of the ingredients in Zenagen that might help your hair loss: coconut extract - penetrates scalp honey - A 2001 study conducted by the Dubai Specialised Medical Centre discovered honey may be used to treat scaling, itching and hair loss. nettle - Clinical trials have confirmed the effectiveness of nettle root extracts in treatments of hair loss, including genetic male-pattern baldness and alopecia areata. rosemary - Rosemary has been shown to promote increased circulation as well as help remove dandruff and sebum accumulations on the scalp. serenoa repens - Medical name for the herb saw palmetto, Studies have shown that saw palmetto is an effective anti-androgen. It acts in a similar way that propecia does. Firstly it lowers levels of DHT in the body by Blocking 5 alpha-reductase. Secondly Saw Palmetto block receptor sites on cell membranes required for cells to absorb DHT. trillium pratense - red clover, rich in phytoestrogens that work to prevent buildup of testosterone in the scalp. One of the first phytoestrogens to be studied was found in red clover and it remains one of the best sources. When female sheep eat a diet high in red clover their menstrual cycles become irregular. camellia sinensis - Camellia oil is a tea tree oil derived from the seed of the camellia oleifera, camellia sinensis or camellia japonica tree. It is extremely high in antioxidants and vitamin E. The women of Japan and China, in order to promote healthy hair and encourage hair growth, have used camellia oil for centuries in their hair-care regimen. trimethylxanthiane (caffeine) - German study showed that caffeine treatment staved off hair loss and encouraged hair growth. melaleuca alternifolia (tea tree oil) - Tea Tree Essential Oil has assisted in elimination of waste through lymphatic system, pre-menstrual and menopausal problems, thrush, hair loss, dandruff, burns, stretch marks, minimizing scarring, herpes, diaper rash, ulcers, cankers, allergies, asthma, athlete's foot, boils, bruises, wounds, dermatitis, earache, chronic fatigue syndrome and boost immunity.

nice ... but it is surprising that the company doesn't have a significant number of before and after pictures for their clinical trial

In the one set of photos they do have, it looks like different lighting and the hair is not combed the same way.

On their site they say as seen on MensHealth, Los Angeles Times and the Chicago Tribune. There is not a link to these articles and a search of the sites turn up nothing on Zenagen.

Where did you get the two for one deal???
I bought a bottle of it to try out, and yes 50 bucks is too much for a shampoo unless it really regrows some hair. I must say, though, that this shampoo does make my hiar look thicker, better than most thickening shampoos and I do like it. Can't say if it's done anything else, though.

S-C-A-M...if you can get a refund, do so. If i came up with something that grew hair, I would have pictures. No pics no growth.

I am using Regenepure and NOT zenagen and do not understand your comment. I was stating that zenagen "smells" like a scam and making a play on the word because we had 3 different company reps post here as consumers that's all. If you like zenagen than good but I will stick to what I am using. "Regrowth.com Moderator"

I do see on the web that most articles praising Zenagen are on "press release" sites where anyone can post their own "press release" and most posts on forums that praise it are most likelu posted by Zenagen employees...

Gimme Poontang I think zenagen and RegenePure are on the same marketing level .... they are similar product ... and both of them need a chance they are similar too .... RegenePure is pretty expensive too ... shampoo and condition cost 40$

Read the ingredients carefully. Nothing compares to regenepure as far as shampoos are concerned. Regenepure does not have a conditioner that I know of.. There is an NT and a DR. The DR is more of a topical. The NT has conditioning agents. Conditioner would thin out your hair. Both of their products thicken your hair well without coating it like other crappy shampoos do. The DR has Ketoconazole like Nizoral. Except Nizoral has sulfates which is very harsh on the scalp. All of the ingredients are on their site. See for yourself...

Jacob- they are an advertiser on this site and some of us use it. And your point? Have you tried it? So tell me, what shampoo do you use? What do you think compares or is better? There is no hidden agenda here, it's an awesome product with no false claims.

No, I haven't tried it. Just looking at the ingreds..didn't know what you were getting at(but I see they're a paid advertiser..which is fine ). There's a couple of very natural shampoos that I haven't tried yet either(Prokeratin.. for one)..but their ingreds look very good. My favs..what I would compare especially ingred-wise- Lamas' Chinese Herbal.....Micellarin Green...and Nutra-Lift. A couple that look more promising in the hair-growth area..if a shampoo would be able to help with that- Pristeen's hGH shampoo(which I am using)...and Bioclin Phydrium Advance(which I've ordered but have yet to try) which contains that Stimucap combo discussed around here.

Hey Scott, wait a second here "nothing compares to regenepure?"...you don't even have mpb so you can't say that on this site, that's not right unless this was a pure shampoo comparison site that had nothing to do with mpb.

Yes jaydee. They are shampoos with great ingredients that are great for the scalp and hair. I think jacob agreed that the ingredients look very good. I do not believe that any shampoo alone can grow back hair. However, I think these shampoos will properly cleanse and prepare your scalp for any additional hair loss application properly. As far as my hair, I am almost 40 and using preventatives. I am currently using Rogaine Foam. I was also using Nizoral until I was educated about SLS and how bad it is and now I use Regenepure DR every other day.

no i do not think just the shampoo will regrow hair ,not so sure of the serum as it is like dermaheal, i think it lathers very well and as with other shampoos you need to alternate use .

I've been suing Zenagen for a few months now, twice a week. It's a pretty decent shampoo -- leaves my hair looking full -- but for 50 bucks a bottle it's too expensive and I can't say it's done anything for regrowth. I probably won't buy it again when my bottle runs out.
