I've been dermarolling with my Spectral DNC and just recently bought a new roller because my old one was probably getting wore out. Anyway, the lipoxidil website says to apply the topical first!!! but I can't see the major advantage in doing so. Is their product more of a lotion than a serum? The reason I ask is because Spectral DNC dries and thus can't be manually maneuvered very well if you dermaroll afterwards. The dermarollers.com page says to dermaroll first, but that is because they say to apply liquid minox afterwards. Wouldn't if be more logical to bust some holes and allow the serum to flow into the lower spaces rather than before? I've had this question for a while and would like to know what others think.

does anyone know if lipoxidil's product is oil-based or a lotion? I'm gonna dermaroll beforehand.

I think its a lotion.

I dermaroll with both minomuck and spectral and dermaroll first, especially with spectral because of the quick drying.

thanks for the reply, thats what I figured. When I get my hair to my goal I'll only use Spectral once a day at night with a roller. that should be economical.

Yea, when I read about derma rolling it was stated as to open as many channels or pores as possible and then delivering whatever you are using to the hair follicles instead of sitting on the surface on your scalp. Good luck!!
